§ 15.01.1200. Finishing uniformed surfaces.

All exposed surfaces of the concrete shall be accurately screened to grade, then float finished, and broomed lightly, unless otherwise specified. Finishing shall be delayed until concrete has reached its initial set and stopped bleeding.

Excessive floating or troweling of surfaces shall not be permitted.

The addition of dry cement or water to the surface of the screened concrete to expedite finishing shall not be permitted.

Joints and edges on unformed surfaces that will be exposed to view shall be chamfered or finished with molding tools.
