It is the intent of American Fork City to repeal those portions of Chapter 3.12 of the Code of the city of American Fork, Utah, known as the "public utilities use
tax," insofar as they pertain to the taxation of telecommunications service providers,
and to adopt the telecommunications service providers gross receipts tax pursuant
to and in conformance with Section 10-1-401, et seq., Utah Code Annotated (1953, as
amended) (known as the "Municipal Telecommunications License Tax Act").
