§ 9.04.010. Adoption of Utah Criminal Code and Utah Code of Criminal Procedure, Human Services Code, State System of Public Education Code, and Health Code.

    The Utah Criminal Code, as contained in Title 76 of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended in 2007, is hereby adopted as the Criminal Code for the city of American Fork and incorporated as part of the ordinances of the city of American Fork. Where a citation, information, or complaint is issued under the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted by this section, it shall be sufficient to use the section number of the Utah Code to designate the section number of the City Code which has been violated. Those portions of the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted herein, referring to or dealing with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, or punishments associated with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, are not part of the adopted Code of the city of American Fork.

    B.

    Title 77 of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended in 2007, titled the Utah Code of Criminal Procedure, and Section 78-3a-801 and 78-3a-802 of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended in 2007, are hereby adopted and incorporated as part of the City Code of American Fork City. Where a citation, information, or complaint is issued under Title 77 or Sections 78-3a-801 and 78-3a-802, of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended, as adopted herein, it shall be sufficient to use the section number of the Utah Code to designate the section number of the City Code which has been violated. Those portions of the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted herein, referring to or dealing with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, or punishments associated with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, are not part of the adopted Code of the city of American Fork.

    C.

    Chapters 3 and 4a of Title 62A of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as amended in 2007, titled the Human Services Code, are hereby adopted and incorporated as part of the Criminal Code for the city of American Fork and incorporated as part of the ordinances of the city of American Fork. Where a citation, information, or complaint is issued under the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted by this section, it shall be sufficient to use the section number of the Utah Code to designate the section number of the City Code which has been violated. Those portions of the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted herein, referring to or dealing with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, or punishments associated with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, are not part of the adopted Code of the city of American Fork.

    D.

    Chapters 8 and 30 of Title 26 of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended in 2007, titled the Health Code, are hereby adopted as the criminal code for the city of American Fork and incorporated as part of the ordinances of the city of American Fork. Where a citation, information, or complaint is issued under the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted by this section, it shall be sufficient to use the section number of the Utah Code to designate the section number of the City Code which has been violated. Those portions of the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted herein, referring to or dealing with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, or punishments associated with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, are not part of the adopted Code of the city of American Fork.

    E.

    Part 5 of Chapter 3 of Title 53A of Utah Code Annotated, 1953 as amended in 2007, titled State System of Public Education, is hereby adopted as the criminal code for the city of American Fork and incorporated as part of the ordinances of the city of American Fork. Where a citation, information, or complaint is issued under the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted by this section, it shall be sufficient to use the section number of the City Code which has been violated. Those portions of the Utah Criminal Code, as adopted herein, referring to or dealing with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, or punishments associated with felonies which are not subject to enforcement by the city of American Fork, are not part of the adopted Code of the city of American Fork.
